The founding members started to build INPACT (International Alliance of Professional Accountants) in 1989 with a European perspective in response to a growing demand for integrated international services in corporate accounting, audit, taxation, consultancy, financial planning and management. Then, as today, this demand came from more companies on the point of entering the international arena, and from those already operating in more than one country, it embraced a like-minded association of CPA firms in the Americas and linked up with an alliance of practices in the Asia Pacific region, so paving way for new opportunities. Partners of member firms throughout INPACT meet regularly on a national and international basis. By fostering good relationships and developing an awareness of different working practices and business cultures, member firms aim to optimise the coordination of their clients' projects and to work better together towards achieving a high standard of service delivery in all member firms.
The INPACT alliance aims to help members ensure that their clients are able to draw on the local technical expertise of member firms throughout the association and continues to provide a framework for its members to assist their clients in meeting the challenges of today's increasingly global business as well and eliminate the barriers of language and commercial customs throughout the world.
